With a settled base of over 130ā€, 600ā€ of total snowfall and plenty of good turns still to be had at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the lifts ran for the last day of the season on Sunday. A combination of forest service lease obligations, wildlife migration impacts, and no metro area to rely on for people to keep the chairs running, one of the best seasons in recent memory has come to an end.

Our friend and photographer Greg Epstein has put together a slide show that captures the faces and places of a fine ski season at The Village. Enjoy the show.

That shot is spectacular! Was it you or Greg that took the one in your post?

That shot is from Epstein’s collection. I should know the location, but can’t pinpoint it, looks a lot like Granite but not sure where. Greg’s a super talented photographer and does a great job of capturing the essence of the sport.

Wade, Just realized I saw a post on the moldy chum awhile back about your salt water fly fishing website. Did you get a guide to take you up on that?
