Labor Day Mania: Celebrating the Last Days of Summer

It’s been a crazy, eventful, long summer in Jackson Hole and we’re having a party in Teton Village to celebrate it! Starting Friday, we’ll have four days of live music, food, arts, movies, and sales!

Come out to the Village to see the tram construction, get screaming ski deals, look at art, take your pup through an agility course, play disc golf, listen to live music and eat BBQ! Ladies - come out for the Marmot Ladies Day!

Labor Day Mania Schedule:

Labor Day Ski & Snowboard Sale:
Friday, August 29 – Monday, September 1st

Don’t miss the best sale of the year! Gear up for next season with incredible deals on skis, boards, outerwear and accessories at ALL Teton Village ski & snowboard shops.

Teton Village Art Show:
Friday – Monday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

A juried art show featuring renowned artists from all over the region.

Dog Dayz in Teton Village:
Friday 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Dog lovers, don’t miss this one! Our local dog Kennel Club will perform demonstrations with dogs and you can sign up to take your fido through the agility course. All dogs must be on a leash or purchase one for this event. Handlers must be 12 years and older, dogs must be one year or older, please leave your choke collars at home.

Free Movie in the Village: Feature Presentation “Snow Dogs”
Friday 9 p.m.

Bring a blanket and enjoy a free movie under the stars! The movie starts around dusk (9:00ish) behind the Crystal Springs Pond Building, so come out early for dinner at one of the fantastic restaurants in the Village and then grab your spot on the lawn.

Free Marmot’s Ultimate Ladies Day
Saturday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Join us for an all girls adventure Day in Teton Village, sponsored by our friends at Marmot. You can choose from a variety of adventures in the morning and the afternoon, and enjoy a complimentary lunch at the top of the gondola. Activities include an interpretive hike led by Marmot athlete Sue Pervis, rock climbing with Exum Guide and Marmot athlete Amy Bullard, road and mountain biking with Robin McGee. You can also learn to fly fish or enjoy a relaxing yoga session with local Lauri Harris while surrounded by the majestic Tetons. This is YOUR day to enjoy however you wish, while in the company of other adventurous women. Complimentary drinks and appetizers will also be provided at the end of the day while you shop the sale at Jackson Hole Sports.

3rd Annual Disc Golf Series: Finals
Saturday 4 p.m.
Cost: $5

Sign up at Jackson Hole Sports for the last Frisbee game of the season. Win fantastic prizes!

Live Music at the Mangy Moose! Featuring: The Eric McFadden Trio
Saturday 10 p.m.
Cost: $10 at the door

3rd Annual Village Chef’s BBQ Showdown and Beer Tasting:
Sunday 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Cost: $10 per plate

It wouldn’t be Labor Day weekend without BBQ! Join us for an afternoon of good food and good times as competing chefs duke it out to see who has the best BBQ in the Village. From 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. visit each participating restaurant in Teton Village for free samples of BBQ and specials. Chefs will be cooking from the Mangy Moose, The Peak, Q, Cascade Grill, Village Café, GameFish, Alpenhof and Nick Wilson’s. There will be live music from the Chan Man at the Bridger Gondola.

Free Teton Village Fishing Derby:
Monday 10 a.m. - 12 noon

A local favorite, the annual fishing derby proves that the best fishing in the Tetons isn’t in the Snake River, but in the Crystal Springs Pond! Be sure to bring the family out for free fishing, hot dogs and prizes! Fishing poles and bait are provided, but guests are encouraged to bring your own poles if you have them!

Over 1,000 people attended last year, so get here early!
