The Mountain Culture

Who We Are

Jeff Wogoman, Director of Marketing, contributor
Raised in Cody on the eastern side of Yellowstone Park, Wogo is no stranger to the wilds of Wyoming. Jeff attended college at Montana State University in Bozeman where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business, as well as associate degrees skiing at Bridger Bowl, fly fishing the blue ribbon waters of Montana and reaching first name basis status with local bartenders. Before arriving at Cloudveil Jeff spent time in Truckee, Ventura, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City working for a variety of companies as a Direct Marketing manager. Wogoman and his wife Barbara are the proud new parents of baby Evalyn. Both still enjoy pursuing their favored outdoor activities in between baby time.

Cameron Barker is a proud new member of the Cloudveil team and a Bikram yoga instructor. She moved out west in 2003 trading sailing on the east coast for the wonderful winters of the Tetons. While taking last year “off” Cameron learned to paraglide, teach hot yoga, mountain bike and occasionally took the odd sailing job to keep some money in the bank. She has now returned to live in Jackson, WY with Frida Kahlo, her six pound long haired chihuahua and aspirations to become a pro, long distance, crosscountry rollerblader.Chuck Fryberger is a climber and videographer from Golder, Colo. whose dream job is a climbing videographer who gets paid a lot. His favorite Cloudveil piece is the Neve sweater and he loves pushing himself to extreme limits in the woods on boulders.

A Jackson transplant from the Dirty-D, Carolyn Gorski is reveling in all that encompasses mountain living. Still waiting to play catch-up in the toy accumulation game, Carolyn’s plan is to pace herself by taking on one new adventure sport each season. Her favorite place in Jackson Hole is Cascade Canyon where she wears everything Run Don’t Walk that Cloudveil makes. Some call her “Calamity Jane,” which is appropriate given her recent MCL injury while skiing. She’ll be back this season, though. So watch out!

Chris Hanson’s favorite color is orange. He’s married and has two dogs. Hanson’s favorite place in Jackson Hole is in the rowing seat commanding the oars of the ‘Ole Blue’ drift boat. He dreams of one day being a ganster rapper or selling frozen chocolate bannanas at a surf side shack. Until then, he wears Four Pines shell pants, takes like only as seriously as needed and looks forward to snow. He’s also the trade marketing manager for Cloudveil.

Born and raised on one coast (Boston, MA) with college years on the other (SF Bay Area), Suzie Hultman found her lifelong home in the mountains in between. She moved to Jackson 10 years ago lured by the snow, peaks and slower-paced life. After conducting marketing surveys on the chairlifts of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and serving up chimichangas at the old Vista Grande, Suzie went on to manage the publishing division of a local publishing firm/ad agency. She joins Cloudveil as the Consumer Marketing Manager, managing our web and catalogue businesses. She and husband Trent enjoy life in the mountains with their two labs, son Keane and baby on the way.

Chad Jackson is a mountain man raised in the hills of Colorado. He now lives in Jackson trying not to grow up and working on a documentary film, “Swift. Silent. Deep.” He’s the proud husband of Katie Jackson and the proud almost-father of Baby Jackson. His favorite piece of Cloudveil gear is the Cool River Short and Run Don’t Walk Zip Fleece and his dream job would be “something that keeps me active in the ski or in the outdoor industry that paid six figures and still gave me a few months off a year.” He says he’s still searching.

Harry Porter rents his home, has no car payment and loves Cloudveil’s Black Ice jacket. In the winter, he teachers snowboarding, in the summer, he pilots and manages Jenny Lake boats. He’s happy the tram is gone for 2007-2008 so there’s more powder for him.

A self-employed guide, business owner and wife, Cathy Shill loves the top of Jackson Peak more than any other place in Jackson Hole. A biologist by training, Shill started The Hole Hiking Experience in 1989 and has been hiking the hills ever since.
